Identify numbers and the concept of zero with this back to school station activity.

Directions:

Have two students take turn spinning the spinner. Using one-inch tiles or the pattern squares provided, have the student place the number of windows on the bus that is shown on the spinner. Have the other student check his/her answer.
To Build the Spinner: Cut and laminate the spinner. Using a paper clip bend one end straight to create a pointer. Place a pencil in the middle of the paper clip directly on the ccenter dot. Pluck the paper clip to spin.
