A literacy station or intervention activity. Partner game where students sort consonants and vowels.

Directions:

1. Both players roll the dice. The player with the highest number goes first.
2. Player 1 rolls the dice and picks up that number of cards.
3. Place any vowels on bubbles on the sea star's arms. Any other cards go in the discard pile. If a special card is drawn, the player must follow the directions on the card and then discard.
4. Player 2 takes his or her turn. Play continues until all 5 vowels have been placed. The winner is the person who places the last vowel.
